Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Usually this forum has more posts than any other forums but none this week.

    Derry City- Shelbourne

Big game for both (If Dundalk or Sligo win the cup 4th place is a European position)
Derry started well in Oriel the other night but once we went 1-0 up they just seemed to stop caring. Fancy them to win this easily though, they have to win sometime

    UC Dublin- St. Patricks

    UCD 3 pts :)

    1st Divison
    Mervue - Cobh Ramblers
    Waterford - Salthill
    Finn Harps- Athlone

Don't know too much about the 1st division apart from reports each week from games but id love Mervue to get a play off spot, and fair play to them if they do

It's all going wrong for Shels
    Derry City 3 - 1 Shelbourne
    74' - Second Yellow and Red -

Gannon booked for the second time for diving. Off he goes.

    Bayly shows his class
    Derry City 3 - 1 Shelbourne
    76' - Red Card -

Bayly who had already been taken off is sent off from the dugout and has to be dragged away by Shels staff.

Real end of season game in Finn park, neither side was particularly interested, altho it at least gives us a chance of 5th. Attendance would have been brutal only for athlone brought a decent crowd, their second was nice enough too.

Hutton also gone, would have liked to see him interview for the job and see if he could point out his mistakes and learn from them... / see if there was better out there.

ah of course, finished above athlone last year and they were operating on a similar budget, 2-2.5k a week this year so i hear so anythings possible. As with any successful irish sports team the fans will flock if they can watch a winning side... heres to our 60th birthday next year and a repeat of our 50th :D (we also went up the year after athlone were last promoted)

wish him well tho, always give his honest opinions not sure if there is better options out there given our current resources & location but time will tell

should have actually taken a pic of the athlone fans, proper Hawaiian theme going on, lucky it was fairly warm!

Almost a shame if Shell's do go down. The comedy they have provided this season has been immeasurably magnificent.

Just back from a short holiday trip. It's nice to see, that some people here still feed on Shel's misery :(
