Audio out of sync - help!

    Hi

How can I fix the audio sync issue on my surround system? Its a Samsung HTF5500 5.1 setup plugged into my two BD players.

Its only a minor sync issue, but still really annoying!

I have tried and fiddled with the audio delay feature on my BD player and TV settings, but it doesn't really help.

Any suggestions on how to fix this? IS there a fix for this?

    Thank you in advance!

The basic idea to understand is tha video processing takes much more time than audio processing. The more you can reduce the video processing effort in devices that aren't that good at it the better. The main problem with these features is that the time to process different scenes is variable so your audio delay setting won't match a dark dinner to a chatty car chase scene.

Try turning off all the video features on the tv, so auto brightness, sharpness fix etc etc. some models have modes that turn these presets down/off called cinema or game mode.

Now reset the audio delay settings and see how much of a lag there is.
