Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Thinking about buying a decent ball and see what looks like some official game balls here: http://www.prodirectsoccer.com/lists/tournament-footballs.aspx I tried amazon but seems most there are replicas?

Anyway, I don't care what tournament it's from just as long as it's a decent ball. The Olympic one looks like it previously was the same high price as the nike ones and I'm wondering is this just a "not in fashion" reason since it's last years olympics or what?

Any suggestions for a decent, well tried and tested ball that will last would be welcome :)

I bought the wc 2006 match ball a while after the tournament. It even featured in a few early boards matches. Theres a much better feel to them. They don't fall apart either. I used it for indoor football too and where a cheap ball wore away all along the edge of the panels the match ball didn't. It was an addidas ball iirc.

    Edit, sure was http://www.soccerballworld.com/Teamgeist.htm

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Just something that will last and be a great ball to play with while doing so too. I'd go for that Olympics one if I knew it was as good as the other £96 ones. Or any one really.

I guess this is the real deal anyway: http://www.adidas.co.uk/finale-13-official-match-ball/G73454_720.html?cm_vc=SEARCH

I guess the high price reflects the fact it's the "current" ball and even for 2014. I'd rather pay half the price for a previous season's ball as long as it's still the same high rating quality.
