Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The side against whom Liverpool had a record wining margin (along with Liverpool 10 Rotherham Town 1, 18/02/1896) visit Anfield in the League for the first time since 13/11/04 when they were defeated 3-2 in a bit of a thriller - Milan Baros with a hat trick (including Peno).

The main point of interest for the home side is who replaces Lucas in the middle, its almost certainly Henderson with Allen still out, talk is of Sterling starting as the right wing back - twice this season the 18 year old has filled in at right back and looked surprisingly sound. Whoever plays on the right side of the back 3 will no doubt be asked to keep an eye on that flank. That's assuming it is a back three - which of course it might not be. Kelly is off the injury list.

Palace have not being overwhelmed by any side yet despite being on just 3 points so complacency is the enemy here.

A comfortable Liverpool win or a 1-0 Palace!

Hopefully 10-0 and Holloway to be investigated by the FA .

I think missing Lucas today will work in our favour.

No need for all three of Lucas, Gerrard and Henderson in these games.

    Predicted line up.

    6-0, Suarez with a hat-trick.

And if Mignolet can save a peno, that would complete a lovely afternoon for my FF team. :)

I'm really nervous about todays game, be happy enough with any kind of victory. I know last year we were winning games against sh*t teams pretty handily, but I still think we will be too complacent and expect the win to come to us.

Was at that Palace game and it was two pens iirc, including one in the 90th minute.

Potential banana skin this one and have Liverpool left behind the inconsistency in gameslike this?

Who knows and I have stopped predicting wins.

Good performance is all I ask and the rest will follow.

Watching Palace this season i feel like they were deserving more from some games than they got. I am hoping the trend continues today.

Skrtel was surprisingly(for me) not terrible as the middle centerback last week. If the rumoured line up is true then i think we are very exposed through the middle. I don't think Henderson has the nous to play there and Gerrard hasn't shown the discipline thus far to sit in front of the backline and Moses hasn't shown any inclination to track back either:mad:

Heres hoping i jinxed my prediction. 2-1 to 'Pool, SAS.

Aye, Palace still have two posts and a bar for us to contend with. We'll probably end up smashing both a fair few times.
