360 Slim DVD Drive Failure

    So the drive on my slim doesn't seem to know if its open or closed and does some weird stuff like when you turn it off it will open, close and then stop open :(
    It did this a couple of months ago and standing it up on its side seemed to sort it but not anymore.

    Bought it may 12 from argos so what are my options?


    Also can you run games off a HD-DVD drive?

    Never mind, bought a 4GB 360E and swapped my HD.

    That console can still be repaired for free. You have a two year warranty on electronic goods in Ireland. Book it in online or call Xbox.
