Kindle Confusion!

Hi all,

I went to buy a kindle paperwhite today and the shop guy said there's probably a new one coming out for xmas. This is the first i've heard but i'm not the best!!

Does anyone know anything about a newer version out soon? Is the paperwhite the most current version?

There's a new model that just started shipping in the US this week, so what's in the shops is probably the original paperwhite.

hold on for the new version, higher specs, better lighting and the same price as the older version...........according to the reviews

I am not sure where the confusion is but the new Paperwhite is released today. Also you can now buy it from amazon.co.uk here

I had it pre-ordered and mine shipped yesterday but I didn't get it yet.

I got the new Paperwhite this morning, very nice, very fast turning pages , TBH not much different to the last one , but you might as well get the latest version ...
