Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

13-26 to Scarlets, with Scarlets winning 6-3 during the sinbin period.

Northampton won't win the heineken cup with Myler at 10. Misses too many kicks.

Lovely twinkle toes showed by Jordan Williams.

Weak tackling but what a finish. Certainly value for money the Scarlets.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

    Another try for Scarlets

    16 - 33 now

You'd have to think that thats Quins knocked out now

Northampton just get back within three only to concede a penalty.

    Castres take the opportunity

    19-13. 72mins

Soft try conceded by Scarlets, defensive numbers where there

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

Not game over yet! Try for Mike Brown! Great match.

A Castres win would be good for Leinster if they can also win this evening.

Converted by Evans: 26-33 with 10 to go! The loser of this is pretty much out of it, given that they're in a pool with Clermont and Racing.

A draw isn't much use either. Harlequins staring down the barrell, can they take Scarlets with them!?

    FULL-TIME

    Castres 19-13 Northampton

    FULL-TIME

    Castres 19-13 Northampton

Good result from a Leinster perspective, shame Northamptin got the bonus point though

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

Good game from Castres. Clancy allows a lot of lee way at the breakdown and it turned into a mess which suited Castres. He made a few dodgy calls as well so can't imagine he'll be too popular with Northampton fans. But Castres have a fair bit of talent when they want to move the ball.

True, although I'd have taken this before the kick-off. Leinster drawing Castres away on Gameweek 5 could be crucial for us

    Poor from Quins there.
    Could be game over

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 868 ✭✭✭Gerry91

Never liked Sackey for some reason glad he didn't get in!!!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 868 ✭✭✭Gerry91

Why the hell did Quins go so wide though???

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,954 ✭✭✭LeeroyJones

Why are the crowd leaving already!?

7 points down with an attacking scrum!

  • Registered Users Posts: 43 Vullet93

Would've liked a Harlequins upset, ah well, LEINSTER TIME

Even a draw there wasn't enough for Quins. Losing at home to Scarlets in a pool containing two giants is suicide.

Great win for Scarlets well deserved.

    Game over, win Scarlets.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

Scarlets win, well done to them!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 868 ✭✭✭Gerry91

    Well done Scarlets!

Quins only have themsleves to blame though butchering that chance near the end they had the Scarlets defence at 6's and 7's

    Quins gone now surely

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,681 ✭✭✭✭P_1

Au revoir Quins so, that result makes things a little bit more interesting for that pool now. No gimmies in West Wales for messers Sexton. Fofana et al

    USAP with a converted try.

    Gloucester 9-13 Perpignan at HT

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,071 ✭✭✭✭wp_rathead

    Good win for Gloucester 27-22

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,681 ✭✭✭✭P_1

Interestingly, so far there has only been the one try bonus point recorded (by Toulouse) so far (albeit with Exeter and Toulon likely to change this)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,616 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

Allen really should have taken that.

If you're not watching Exeter you should be. So far it's class. Exeter just always running the ball.

Exeter Try, scrum in their own 22, then 20 plus phases running the ball, always making ground, great variety. Try.

One of the best I've seen.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,681 ✭✭✭✭P_1

    Those Cardiff jerseys

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,616 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

    5-3 now, halfpenny penalty.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,616 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

Blues kickers need to find touch, fetu vainakola is having a field day.

    Steenson penalty, 8-3 Exeter.

18 minutes in, Cardiff have made 37 tackles... Averaging one every 30seconds.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,681 ✭✭✭✭P_1

Exeter are such a lovely team to watch

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,616 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

Strange try, Dean mumm seemed to come through the ruck bodesque. All came from his second row partner Welsh stealing a line out (without being lifted) and running 20 metres straight out of the line out.

    Steenson adds 2.

    15-3

And another try, Chiefs running riot here

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,541 ✭✭✭Davei141

Pretty embarrassing stuff so far from Cardiff, another try Exeter.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,163 ✭✭✭TheGoldenAges

22-3 now, Cardiff are all over the place

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,616 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

Exeter make it three tries, winger Matt Jess does what his captain did minutes before. But all came from Exeter running it from their 22 again. More extras 22-3, less than half an hour gone.

Cardiff and their lions really are a disgrace. No interest in competing in this match. Exeter are brilliant today though
