Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This could get quite ugly for Cardiff here

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,616 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

18 missed tackles, 3 lost line outs. Cardiff are awful.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,616 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

Fetu scores. Bonus point and easy conversion.

Leigh halfpenny and Alex cuthbert both fall for the same dummy. 29 points to 3.

    Wow.

Bonus point after 30 minutes, oh my

wow. bonus point try for chiefs. for all the good individuals that cardiff have, they really are terrible

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,258 ✭✭✭✭Buer

This is an utter embarrassment. I've only watch the last 5 minutes and the Blues don't look like they care whatsoever. Pringle should leave the pitch.

How are Cardiff so bad, so consistently?

Their players simply don't give a damn whatsoever.

They've 13 international players starting today including 5 test Lions. They're a disgrace.

Even Zebre (away to Toulouse), Mogliano (away to Dragons), and Cavalieri Proto (away to London Irish) lasted longer without conceding 4 tries this weekend!

29 mins is when Exeter scored their 4th try.

And there's number 5, far too easy for the Chiefs

5th try for Exeter. Who is that Exeter scrum half. He's playing well.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,309 ✭✭✭former legend

    This is disgraceful from Cardiff.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,899 ✭✭✭✭BBDBB

pathetic stuff from the Blues, Exeter playing well as a unit to do a professional job

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,308 ✭✭✭✭.ak

Not watching but I'd imagine the welsh players are all thinking of the AIs. Terrible stuff. If the WRU valued the impact from the clubs they'd take club form into the selection process.

Cardiff are an embarrassment to the Pro12. Thankfully Scarlets did what they did but its all grist to the PRL mill. All Wales' grand slams have done precisely nothing for bringing on the regions. One more defeat for Ospreys and theyre cooked as well

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 17,958 ✭✭✭✭RuggieBear

Cardiff should be ****ing ashamed of themselves. ****ing pathetic effort being shown.

You'd feel sorry for the likes of copeland, coming on in the second half after a capitulation like that.

  • Moderators, Science, Health & Environment Moderators Posts: 18,219 Mod ✭✭✭✭CatFromHue

It's quite amazing really. Last season Cardiff, Lanelli, and the Dragons were all out of European reckoning after their second games.

Only Ospreys put up a good fight and were in it until game 5.

    Garces rides that tackle well!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,616 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

Garces gets bashed. Thank the Lord for refcam.

    Steenson doing very well here.

    Should be on Schmidt's radar.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,681 ✭✭✭✭P_1

And another one for Exeter, Steenson hits the post for the third time with the conversion, 41-3 now

Lloyd Williams scores for the blues, jammy try from a mistake. Williams proving that only Welsh players with that second name, can scores tries in the hcup this weekend.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,681 ✭✭✭✭P_1

    41-10, the comeback's on...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,772 ✭✭✭toomevara

Great admirer of Exeter, a very easy team to like..no puffed up idiots or rockstars like so many premiership teams here in the UK..good team, play nice rugby and fair play to them, but the Cardiff Blues should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves on the basis of the first half. Completely unprofessional.

    How many?

    Himself and Scarlet's 9 and 12

    41-17

    Copeland gallops over.

Another quick one would be cool

Copeland goes over, still proving the hypothesis that only Welsh players with the Williams surname can score tries though. Defence seems optional in this one

    Exeter have 2 men binned!
C'mon Cardiff, another score in next 2/3 minutes and we could have a proper interesting game on our hands.

And the scarlets 11, which is 4 Williams try scorers. Ospreys didn't score a try, and Cardiff soother try is copeland, who's Irish! But James hook also scored... So it's not quite true.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,616 ✭✭✭✭errlloyd

Exeter have lost two centres. Harsh call

Cardiff will be sniffing a bonus point here

Chiefs down to 13 for the next ten minutes, things could get interesting now

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,541 ✭✭✭Davei141

Exeter down to 13! Is there a comeback on?

He's looking a much better article than mr 'lions captain'. Back to last seasons fecklessness.

Right, this is fast becoming as bizarre a 60 minutes of Heineken rugby as I have ever seen...is it just me or was that 2 yellow completely ridiculous?

Surely a tbp for Cardiff here.

Yeah not sure about the second yellow at all.

Cuthbert scores in the corner but they took ages to work the try.

Need to be far more ruthless with a 2 man advantage.

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,805 ✭✭✭Swan Curry

Not sure about the deliberate knock-on,but the high tackle was a fair yellow.

First was harsh, second was fair enough I thought

    I dunno on the yellows.

The high tackle was around the neck and Whitten did slap the ball down so I can see why the ref gave them.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3,883 ✭✭✭shuffol

A certain try denied by a poor forward pass call by Garces.

Totally agree, also thought Cuthbert was a little bit lackadaisical with the touch down...
