Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Don't know why I listened to people on here saying that Cardiff might be good this year.

It's the same shít year in, year out...capable of putting a bit of a run together when they're bothered but consistently, their big players don't give a fcuk about the games, and put in an absolutely disgraceful level of commitment/effort. Last year, the likes of Warburton, Roberts, Cuthbert, Davies were embarrassingly bad for the most part.

Also, this is a local rivalry of sorts. Probably only 22 miles as the crow flies from Sandy Park to Cardiff.

Any closer rugby rivalries (from different countries) spring to mind?

Bonkers...through the looking glass time...Exeter basically had a mental breakdown on realising they were 38 points up and imploded for 30 mins...

The Exeter chant is daft, sounds like a load of guys trying to sing but who are too hammered to actually form the words. :pac:

Cardiff v Gloucester or Bath would be pretty close too.

Glasgow 17 points down after 17 minutes without putting a foot wrong really.

Toulon just fantastically clinical so far.

Two awesome tries from Toulon. Not many could live with that to be fair.

    Johnny's off.

    Freddie's on.

This could be a 60 point game.

Well with Freddie on it could either be Toulon by 60 or Glasgow by 3. You never know....

Toulon showing no mercy, Glasgow have been having a great season not many would live with this

Could Jonny still do a job in the England squad?

Just turned this on now, that's quite a scoreline. Who have are better Toulon performers or have they been collectively excellent?

Oh god collectively for sure. 15-man rugby.

Toulon dont know what rucks are!

I'd love to see what a bookies would offer for Toulon to make 30 points in the pool stage!

    Serious task

Toulon are the side everyone wants to play this year I reckon. Would love to see Leinster against them in the Mayol.

Has any team ever got 30 points in the pool stages?

    Ye wa?

I'll be quite happy if Ulster come nowhere near that Toulon team this year! Someone else can knock them out for us! :pac:

I would absolutely love to see Leinster get Toulon in a HEC SF in the Aviva.
Get BOD and Leo in there, 90% of our players fit and it'd be some game.

Same for Munster in Thomond or Ulster in Ravers.

All great playing globetrotting rugby against Glasgow in the sun, but put them into a dogfight and it's a different story.

Long, long way to go for that though!

Biarritz have either got 29 or 30 I think?

Nah, the most was Biarritz with 29 in 2007 with 29 I think. Wasn't long before that when it was 2 points for a win etc.

Negative. Closest ever was Biarritz in 2006/07 with their obscenely easy pool of Northampton, Borders and Parma. That was the year Northampton were relegated (and actually qualified as a runner up and knocked out Biarritz in the QF unbelievably).
