It's not great quality to be fair, 2 ply and not very soft. They also have 20 rolls of 3 ply quilted for €6.99 and 20 rolls of 3 ply recycled (also quilted) for €5.99

The dearer ones actually work out cheaper as you don't need to use as much per wipe so they last longer :D

to much sockage might prove to be a problem.

Great for the kids. I found they use the same amount regardless of quality.

I was interested by your comment, and decided to put it to the test. We get aldi paper, so I broke a bottle and did a quick comparison. The aldi paper was soft, with good absorbency. The shards of glass tore my ass to ribbons, and was not at all absorbent.

Ah! But was it an aldi bottle or a lidl bottle? Maybe in the interest of a balanced survey you should do it all over again with a bottle from each of the relevant vendors.

    Lidl is a **** hole.

If your a real cheap cooont who only buys 2 ply then this is the best IMO

    DFEBC845.jpg

Used it once when i was living on the streets, now i have a home and only use 4ply +

4ply + is OK for a home I suppose, but for a more durable starter home you should try cardboard.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,026 ✭✭✭Gulliver

This is only 1 ply but oh so durable. The only downside is the little holes which would allow some seepage.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,104 ✭✭✭iPhone.

Deadly for removing the Klingons on the starboard bow though, well spotted!

See what you mean by the little holes being a problem though alright, anyone with a standard hole who isn't afflicted by the seepage problems you mentioned should be good to go though, literally.
