    Hi,

I am organising a girlie weekend from November 15th to 17th in Belfast.

I was wondering if anyone could help me identify what the best pubs, restaurants etc are that would be to go to on a Friday and Saturday night and if there is any event on during that time that would be worth checking out.

I am aware that the Christmas market starts on the Saturday. Is this any good?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Christmas market is amazing, not so much for the shopping but for the atmosphere. There are food/beer tents etc. so yo can socialise in it aswell and checking out the stalls for bits and pieces.

What age range are your group?

Quite a few popular and busy restaurants around St Anne's square and the Mac. Great atmosphere round there of an evening nowadays.

Long time out of Belfast, but get yourselves to Robinsons bar, opposite the Europa Hotel, head left out the front door when you wanna move on.

something i gave to a few girlfriends

for the friday night id recommend the M-Club.
never been myself but heard its good.

not sure if your all going out friday so maybe better to fire a few decent restaurants in

http://www.mourneseafood.com/ (few decent pubs nearby too)

http://www.cabaretbelfast.com/cabaret-belfast-supperclub-restaurant/treehouse-bar-belfast.html ( nice rooftop bar with cheap eats
    )
http://madeinbelfastni.com/ ( loads of belfast kitsch)

so many good restaurants so maybe if you give me some ideas for food?

    some notable mentions to google.
deanes , drennans , hill street , ox , ginger , mollys yard , james street , nicks warehouse , shu.

for saturday wants to start early afternoon in fibbers.

    after that she mentioned filthys.

suppose the crown should be fit in , its right beside fibbers.

    again loads of bars!
some nice surpises too , i like these places

    all a bit alternative maybe
other notables that i think you would like that are more trendy.
    21 social
    the apartment
    cafe vaudaville
    duke of york
    john hewitt
    the whig
    the spaniard
    lilys
    ollies
    rbg grill
i think the best thing is if you pick an area and stick to it.
most of the above are all within walking distance to each other.
    as for clubs ......
i haven't a clue as ive never been to one!!!
well apart from the old dingy techno ones
    but simple rule
the gay bars are the best and stay open very late but are maybe a bit full on.
they would be MYNT and THE KREMLIN
two more that have progressed from the hardhouse to more of a dance and r&b scene would be
    THOMPSONS
    and
STIFF KITTEN ( it might be a contender depending on whats on , they used to run the world famous shine club back in the day)
    maybe the likes of
    http://www.monobelfast.co.uk/
maybe the above suit all late on and any hardcore could head to MYNT or the KREMLIN after?
i think the clubs get busy around 11/12 and close around 3 , the other ones to 5/6.
i hope thats enough for now as a generalisation.
let me know any more specific information for any of the above venues or anything else.
also worth noting the city airport is handiest , maybe a tenner in a taxi.
the international airport is miles away and maybe £30.
