Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Getting out of UPC contract.

Hi guys, has anyone ever had any luck with this?

Basically my mother got a call to the house offering horizon in which she agreed too. Unfortunately due to the mountain of technical issues and glitches it has been left to me to deal with.

The wifi signal from the horizon box drops out every 10-15mins, as a computer science student in my final year this makes it impossible to get any work done. As I have to reset the box every time this happens.

Having spoken to upc's technical support countless times (after waiting on hold for on average half an hour,) a solution does not seem to be available to our issues.

After getting the go ahead from my mother and again being on hold another half an hour, I eventually spoke to someone and explained we wanted out of the contract. After seeking legal advise, we where informed that this was a case of "denial of service," and we are entitled to walk away from the contract.

Has anyone ever had any luck with this?

Might be better asked in Consumer Issues! They'll jump all over this there, ha!
