New broadband customer - very disapointed with speeds in the evening

    I'm a new eircom customer and I'm on 7mb (non NGB) and I've noticed my internet is not great in the evenings so today I ran some tests:

    I understand the line can be busy in the evenings or whatever, but at less than 1mb/s and a ping of greater than 100ms I'm not a bit satisfied with it. It makes real time applications (Skype, games etc) a non runner for me. Is there an issue or is this just the level of service I can expect?
