Propane compatibility with butane

I have a gas hob which uses bottled butane (yellow bottle). Is it OK to change over to Propane (red bottle) without making any changes to the jets. I've just been given two full 47kg bottles of propane so it would be great to be able to use them for this.

It will work perfectly but you will require an RGI to make changes at the regulator.
