    Can any tell me why my new laptop is as slow as my old one.
    New laptop 8gb, i5 processer windows 8
    Old laptop 4gb duel processor windows 7
    Upc 50 mb internet.
    If I am downloading a movie its fast. But just the normal site switching is the same as ever.

    The speed of switching between sites is governed by both your download speed and the upload speed/demand of the site being visited. The speed of your laptop is virtually irrelevant.

    Go to speedtest.net and check your actual speeds.
