In the interests of fairness and balance I'd like to draw their attention to a group of men wearing rainbow jerseys.

Not that Iona are anti rainbow jerseys as such... After all rainbow - sky is what the Good Lord intended.

I like Taylor Phinney. He's like a cross between George Hincapie and Jedward. It's a rare specimen that can wear these pants:

and do 490w for 12 minutes in February too.

    Interesting approach:
Haussler’s own, distinctive approach remains in place – how many other professionals kick off their winter training with two solid months of cross-country skiing?

Remarkably, at the age of 29, this winter marked the first time that Haussler has trained diligently with a power meter. "With Garmin, we had to use it as part of the team, but this is the first time I’ve actually worked with someone and done interval training, motor pacing, sprints and proper weight training," he said. "All this kind of stuff is new and it’s something I’m getting a big advantage from."

    WHHHAAAAAAATTTTTT?????????????

That's is exactly what I thought - runner do interval training all year and have been doing so for decades, I am starting to think cycling training really is in the dark ages if the pros are at that level of training no wonder Sky use modern sports science (Swim Coaches) to develop their riders

I think it's to emphasise they're custom made, i.e. cut to measure.

The German for scissors is "schere" which is (presumably) homophonic with Schär. It's a pun. A german pun. LOL.
