nintendo ds xl from the USA

    not sure if this is the correct forum but does anyone know if I purchase a nintendo ds xl in the USA will it work here in Ireland re
    1: Power
    2: Games from Ireland work with a US version
    3: Anything else I should be worried about ?

    Power issues can be gotten around, but the games are region locked, and that's the main reason for not getting one from the States (unless you're prepared to get all games from there as well).

    Edit: Do you mean a DS or 3DS? 3DS is region locked, DS isn't.
