I got a very big bag of lego last week off my newphew for my own son.....it takes up most of the kitchen table.

I was wondering if anyone knows where i would get a storage box....and I'm thinking of something that might resemble a tray that he could use to store it and also use to build his models on.....

also i have no instructions for it...anyone know of a good website that has plans / assembly instuctions for lego?

    thanks

I don't know of anything like that,

I use one of these for storage of large parts:

One of these for organising small parts:

And one of these for keeping part assembled kits during 'build sessions'

there are a few sites that you can get build instructions on, i have used http://www.brickset.com before and found it quite good. however if you have just random lego not sure how you would go about getting instructions? what would you be looking for? I suspose if it is a large selection find models that you like get the instruction and just give it a bash. you might have to come up with interesting alterations to get around missing pieces though. thought that is half the fun with Lego.
