The security was way overdone, I half expected to see a tank on the Raheen roundabout!

The sheer swaggering arrogance shown by these shysters yesterday was both an embarrassment and mindblowing. The general election cant come soon enough to give these charletens their come-uppance.

    Missing the point.!!
They have continued with the exact same policies as the previous corrupt FF/GREEN/GOMBEEN clique that masqueraded as a government.

And FF didnt have anything to do with that now did they? Yet the majority of blind irish people just groan at current government, the one trying to steady the ship and get us back on course. Yet people like you want to elect SF (heaven forbid) and FF back in to power

Good of Michael Noonan to bring one of the last big FG Ard Fheis' to Limerick. In a couple of years after the next election they'll be able to hold their Ard Fheis in the Lobby of a Travel Lodge.

Your being overly optimistic. They'll still be the biggest party in the country after the next election with FF the second biggest. Just like the PD's and Greens took the hit for FF, Labour will take the hit for FG. They still lead all the polls and their older middle class core support are the type of people who actually turn up on polling day.

polls are not generally that accurate. Loot at the polls for the recent referendums for example/ The polls of party support generally exclude the don;t knows and they currrently are a huge part of the electorate, No guarantees for any party based on polls.

I know what your saying, but younger lower income people generally don't vote, while older middle/higher income people generally do. FG take their support from the latter, the SF / socialist opposition take their support from the former.
