Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Decent enough performance I think spoiled by individual errors. We miss McGeady imo.

I think we've done ok tonight bearing in mind the difference in quality between teams. We almost scored there mainly because the German's aren't pressing as hard now because God knows any time we are pressed we seem to panic. I'm by no means a tactical expert but to me it's one of the glaring problems we have had under Trap that we need to address imo. That being having some composure when being pressed.

I'd say if he went up a ladder to sort out a gutter he'd fall of it.....at the same time keeping somebody onside

Sweden can still catch Germany? By my count, Germany will be 5 clear with one game to go.

I think he was just saying that if Germany weren't going to win this match, then Sweden could still catch Germany

Germany won with ease tonight we are pure sh ite.

Poor effort from Stokes. On another day we might have gotten something from the amount of chances he has had.

Germany just showed the difference in class right there. 3-0 away to the best team in the world is a decent result considering what happened in the home match.

In all honesty we have been thoroughly outclassed. If not for Forde and Lady Luck we would be on the receiving end of another thumping. BBC says the Germans had 75% possession and 28 shots to our 12.

I really hope Ruud Dokter and others can do something positive for the next generation. I don't think a new manager can do much with this current crop. It's like asking for wine from water. I think the best we can hope for is to stay competitive and hopefully build for a brighter future.

Time to lower our expectations on the senior side and ramp up our expectations for the coaching and development of players.

On the bright side... in about 2 decades we should have a good few players to rob from australia.

Really disappointed with the panel on RTE at half time.

Thought they were very harsh on Noel King who has hardly had time to get his feet under the table. I usually like Dunphy and Brady but thought they were both snug and pathetic.

A 3..0 defeat against that German side is not as bad as it looks. Technically Germany are one of the better sides in Europe and the world. We could have nicked a goal or 2 and its massive improvment on the match v Germany in Dublin

Germany still won't win the World Cup, they will loose out to Spain, who statistically (titles in recent years) are the best team in the world ;)

Whelan and doyle on the wings make no sense only for the keeper and Germany knowing they had the game it could of been 6 or 7 easy.
