Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Germany still won't win the World Cup, they will loose out to Spain, who statistically (titles in recent years) are the best team in the world ;)

I know this argument happens a lot, but for me, it's Germany. :p

Ozil hadn't seen Whelan all night so he probably thought it was a fan asking for his shirt.

He sent out one of the worst shaped Irish teams Ive ever seen. No subs. Feck him. Another dope.

    Next please.
Didn't think it was that bad. Plenty of chances created, 2 of the goals conceded due to poor individual errors, not a whole lot of time to work with the team. I definitely wouldn't want him getting the job but that isn't based on tonight.

    No Andy Reid
    Aidan McGeady
    Wes Houlihan

    at any stage

Players who I like and rate: Andre Schurrle, excellent tonight, his runs ff the ball are terrific, his work rate relentless and he's got real quality on the ball.

Sure someone had to get the shirt. Whelan may as well get in before Stokes tries to take it.

See, I know Germany. Always brilliant in the qualifiers, then it comes to the tournament as such, we beat Engerland...and loose out to Italy, or most likely Spain ;)

Next match, formation I'd like to see.

    Forde

    Coleman
    Dunne
    O'Shea
    O'Brien

    Gibson
    McCarthy

    McGeady
    Hoolahan
    Reid

    Long

Would be entertaining, technically proficient and disciplined.

With the players available for the game, that's the best 11 we have.

What a pleasure it is hearing a nice free flowing bullsh1t interview as opposed to the staggered sh1te you got with Trap.

You'd be better off having Dora the Explorer as the interim manager... jesus.

That's like what you'd do if you were managing under 12's! The lads who turn up for every training get to play the full match!

Most goalies have what is considered their better games against teams like Germany.

If he made a substitution it would have been just to keep us/the meeja happy especially since it was all going so well.

I love how Dunphy in his little ramble a few minutes ago managed to carry on with his "German football isn't great" ****e from last years champions league.

His obsession with Barca and Spain completely blinds him from the fact that Germany (and german clubs) are top tier and a match for anyone on their day, and even their second string side would give most teams in Europe a spanking.

    Spoofer of the highest order.

If you only came in to listen to Forde you'd swear Ireland won the game.

Like allowing your mate who hasn't the foggiest to manage the national team just because he hangs around the office and is handy rather than having someone actually qualified to do the job, probably as a sop to LOI and grassroots
