Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Injuries board/order to pay/motor accident claim

I was in an accident last year.
The driver of the other car took full responsibility.
Her insurance company sent the claim to the injuries board who then assessed.
Both the insurance company and I accepted the assessment.
Her insurance company received the order to pay today, I have completed the hole thing myself (without any solicitors)
I am just wondering how long will it take to receive the payment after the order to pay is issued?
As I was out of work after the accident I have ended up with quit a few bills to pay and I really want them all sorted and paid off before the Christmas season starts and more bills start coming in.!

    Hi Siobhan,

Open to correction but I believe its within 28 calendar days.... I would be surprised if its longer than a few weeks. (http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=64072309). Hope this helps

According to this thread you shouldn't expect the next post until 2021.

Depends on the insurance company... I'd typically expect it within circa 28 days. Depending on your circumstance, if you have a solicitor it'll probably be sent to them.

In my case the solicitor was on the hook to settle a bunch of medical expenses and I got balance. Medical expenses were covered in total cheque. I think mine was with solicitor within about 2 weeks or so
