inniu or inniú? Help!

    Ok I am helping my sister with an essay (she in 6th year) and was wondering about this. Is it spelt inniu or inniú? Is there a difference? I know this may sound incredibly stupid!

    Inniu is how it's said in the West. Inniú sounds like Ulster Irish! :pac:

    The current correct and official way is inniu.

    Might be how it sounds in munster Irish, but Inniu is how it is spelt in standard Irish, which is what you should be using for an essay.

    In sound yes but never spelt with a fada i gCúige Uladh.
