I have 2 fags, a coffee and a banana most mornings. I eat plenty then throughout the day.

A lot of people in other countries (such as Spain and Japan) have beer with breakfast. I never got used to seeing people in cafes at 7am having beer with their toast.

As alcohol makes me very sleepy, that would be a terrible idea for me!

Eating champions first thing in the morning - the real breakfast of champions.

Cake is an all purpose food. we got cupcakes at work and I had one left so brought it home, did I eat it before heading off to work the next day? damn right I did.

Made myself a full Irish breakfast this morning .... followed an authentic recipe handed down since the time of the famine ... .... in other words, I had no breakfast!

I find I I get in the junk food early, it leaves the entire day free to eat more junk food.

Shame on you amateurs who put cold pizza in the microwave. Stick it in the toaster for a few minutes and it crisps up the base again.

I tried that once but the cheese slid off to the bottom of my toaster. :(

I usually don't have time in the morning so i get down on my honkers and share a can of cat food with my cat.

Never happened to me I have to say. I find the cheese on next-day-pizza practically welded to the bread.

I remember back in my school days having those little frozen mini pizzas a few mornings.
One day a girl in class asked me what I had on my chin. It was some dried tomato sauce
from the pizza. She was amazed I could have that for breakfast.

In my house with 2 adult sons and a bottomless pit stomached dog, I rarely have any next day pizza. :)

Reheat the pizza in the oven. It turns out lovely and crispy, not soft and floppy like from the microwave.

My bf is a fan of breakfast pizza, never had it myself. Might try it heated up some time. Not a fan of cold food in general.
Sometimes nothing better than supper fry. Nom. Stupid gastroenteritis stopping me from eating all the nice things.

I have a recommendation or you Canadianwoman. Simply turn the toaster on its side before putting the pizza in so the cheese won't slip off.

Don't think anyone has mentioned it but you should turn the toaster on its side. Works great.

I have to agree I generally just eat whatever I want when I want, it all depends on how hungry I am and what I feel like. I have to have something with lots of protein and some fat in the morning, a bowl of cereal or porridge and I am wallfalling again an hour later.

A Tim Hortons has opened up in my local petrol station recently. Lovely coffee, the Canadian Starbucks according to the girl behind the counter.

Oh I love it soft and floppy.

Speaking of left overs, nothing beats waking up the morning after being on the lash and finding an almost full large whiskey within reaching distance of the bed (or wherever you conked out).

I like the amount of people eating cake for breakfast.

Yep, there'll be plenty of company in the waiting rooms at diabetes clinics.

I had a large double, double earlier myself. I don't drink coffee very often but I do love an occasional Timmies.

When my grandad used to go to the mart he would have his jelly and custard first, then his dinner.

I try to keep that tradition going whenever I can.

Had a mcflurry before my dinner Thursday.

Used to work permanant nights, 8pm to 8am.

Used to have 2 slices of toast bout 10.30pm, a proper dinner at maybe 4am and then a bowl of cereal before bed at 9am!

Probably not healthy, but I was as thin as a rake! Best thing about nightshifts imo.

Do a normal 9-5 job now, and have put on a few stone even though I still eat about the same amount as I always did....

Leftover pizza or Chinese from the night before?? Yes please!!

Think a lot of it is in the mind / culture. If you put down a lasagne or a fillet of steak to someone at 8am they would think you were off your head, yet many can sit down to eat a big fryup of assorted pork no problem!

It's not, if there's one thing I have learnt from this thread is that leftover pizza is best put into a toaster and the toaster should be placed upside down I think, or on top of the microwave or something like that, sh1t, I'll have to reread the thread again, I think it was mentioned once about how to toast pizza correctly.

It's more about the type of food some can tolerate after several hours of sleep. The occasional breakfast of processed, salty meat with toast and gallons of tea or coffee can be more digestible. Depends on the person, of course. It ranges from those who can't eat breakfast at all to those who could eat a steak dinner.

    It's the Breakfast of Champignons...
