Ipod 5 th gen

My son wants an ipod 5 th generation for Xmas. I see one at 16 GB with very little difference to the next one is 75 odd dearer ..... I cannot understand why he wants me to spend 75 euro more on a device with a colour cover and extra gigs which he will not need.


I will get him the dearer one , but I want to know what is the technical difference between the 16 GB and the next one up and is it worth the extra 75 odd euro

Is the next one up 32gb? If so that doubles* the amount of space he can use for apps and games and photos. With a couple of huge games and videos and photos he'll go through 16gb quick enough.



*roughly :-) with the OS installed it actually does more than double the space.

I've bought my son the iPod5 for Christmas as well and now I'm looking at docking stations and one said I might need an adaptor if its for 5th generation. Can anyone shed any light, please ?
