Wiping tablet that has cracked screen

I cracked the screen on my Nexus 7 and it switches on but you can't do anything because of the damaged screen. I am trying to sell it so I'm wondering is there any way of resetting it without using the screen as it contains all my emails etc which Id rather someone else not having access to.

I'm not sure if there is a hard reset option...you could google it though! How much are you after for it as is? You might be better off fixing it before selling, you can get a new screen setup here

You could unlock the bootloader, install something like clockworkmod. You can use that to wipe through use of button only.

It's on Adverts at the moment and I'm looking for €60. I did consider fiixing it bit seems to be a tricky job. I tried fixing an Iphone screen last year and it went wrong so this time I decided to give it a miss and have bought another Nexus.
