Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    From their website, www.centra.ie/offers

"The promotion entitles customers to purchase 1 x 12oz tea, coffee, cappuccino, latte or hot chocolate for 1c (one cent) with any purchase (excluding the purchase of fuel products, lottery tickets, gift-cards, mobile top-up, bin tags, bus tickets, baby food (under 6 months), tobacco products or alcohol) in participating Centra stores (the “Promotion”).The Promotion is available on Tuesday the 15th of October only. Each customer shall be entitled to participate once only in the Promotion. The Promotion applies to tea, coffee, cappuccino, latte, mocha and hot chocolate only and is non-transferable for any other product and no cash alternatives will be offered in lieu."

As the title says, centra are selling tea and coffee (cappucinos and lattes also) for 1c with any other purchase tomorrow, tuesday 15th budget day. There are restrictions as to what the "other purchase" can be (see below) but if you buy a cheap bar or chocolate, looks like the drink is 1c. No mention of a minimum purchase.

Whats to stop a person going from Centra to Centra surly there is no way of enforcing this.

The coffee will be spiked with a sub lethal dose of Ricin.
If you have one cup of coffee, you'll be fine
If you have two cups of cheap coffee, you'll get flu like symptoms, but if you have 3 or more, you'll die an agonising death (and rightfully so, you stingy ts and cs violator)

Its not trickery. All stores should be doing the offer, its advertised nationally. There is another forum on here for conspiracy theories.

Same sh1te again centra, not knowing anything about the deal in store or no sign of it.

I didnt go out of my way to avail, but there is a centra near my work and as i go in there anyways most mornings i would know the staff to talk to.

They have not been told of this offer at all.

Normally have tea in work anyway so it's no biggie, but why put up an offer that your franchisees know nothing about centra?

90c is about the usual cost. Still 91c is not bad for a coffee and a kit kat.

they're in the ha'penny place when compared to a kitkat.

Because I was seduced by the advertising  "win free bars instantly"

I availed of this this morning, picked up a freshly baked Danish as well, €1 for the 2 items, happy days. I did notice that the stronger (Joe??) coffee machine seems to be out of order, strange that.
