Flight tax to 0, that is a big deal. O'Leary will be popping the champagne

But there will still be an admin charge to calculate and deduct the 0% tax!

Home Renovation incentive scheme – for works in 2014 and 2015 – calculated as 13.5% of cost over €5,000 to €30,000. To registered contractors (hitting out at black economy).

Enough to cost the customer between 20-30 euro per entrance to Irish airports

And to leave. Will be slightly cheaper for them heading to Canada or Australia.

Capital gains tax relief when money gained when re-invested, that is good news for entrepreneurship.

The Start Your Own Business scheme sounds good.

    Pretty great budget so far.

Good stuff always come first, Howlin probably will deal with the nasty ****, but if this is the "pleasant surprises" outlined, then people will be disappointed.

Citizens want to hear direct positive measures for them, not for SME's and not business owners

Pretty optimistic forecast on deficit, hitting those targets will mean two furthers years of tough enough budgets after this one.

Employment has only gone up due to the fact they count people on Jobsbridge having a real job and not on the live register.

Finance department is forecasting GDP growth of 0.2% this year, strengthening to 2% next year.

a 10 fold increase in a year? Sounds very optimistic. What's about to happen to warrant such a positive outlook

No sick benefit for the first six days of illness (up from three days).

Fecks sake. No consideration for those with chronic long term illnesses. Might as well just pack in work altogether :(

Still hear these words of last year: No one will see a change on their pay slip come january.

****er still owes me an explanation how it happened i again lost +/- €100 a month.

Didnt know it was possible but i get a really unhealthy amount of pure hatred for politicians.
Being Dutch and still have an interest in my country means i have to deal with 2 sets of those *****.
