Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Actually Emma Byrne might have got a game for Kazakhstan. Very dodgy keeper.

Wilson has been shocking so far.

Give her more credit than that.

To think of all the sh!tty players that were picked ahead of Reid for all these years.

Ya meanwhile Reid was winning champions league medals playing at the top level. Reid is very very adverage.

And that's just one reason why Andy Reid should have been in the squad, when he's in the team we are a treat from set pieces.

If he was fit you'd get the same from Brady with better overall play though.

6 years ago Brady was doing his junior cert, so he wouldn't have been much use then really.

Bit of a careless tackle for someone who has had knee injuries recently.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,399 ✭✭✭✭ThunbergsAreGo

This Whelan abuse is uncalled for

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,399 ✭✭✭✭ThunbergsAreGo

Got to admit I am liking Stokes, he gives us that bit of unpredicatability perhaps only McGeady gives us.

I like Doyle, but he really needs to be playing at a higher level

    Is McGeady injured?

  • Registered Users Posts: 682 ✭✭✭LOSTfan57

Mods told me clearly there is no abuse allowed

It's not always working, but at least the team are trying to do the right things.

Exactly. Everyone seems to forget Whelan played by far the bast pass of any Irish player against Germany when he found Stokes with an accurate long range pass.

The amount on nonsense on here on match days is extraordinary.

I really wish King would play an actual winger. These lads wouldn't be able for McGeady at all.

Is stokes a footballer or what's the story?

Looks like he won a raffle competition for his place in the team the last two games.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,909 ✭✭✭Neeson

Do ye think that's Gibsons career over?

Not sure if serious, it looked a bad one but itll be one year max hed miss

Fingers crossed looked worse than it was, just read his previous injury was his knee, so lets hope it was just an impact injury and not too long out

Problem is, he is probably the one id look to build the midfield around and him missing friendlies etc isnt a good thing, especially so long out

Are you for real? He's one of the first on the team sheet for everton when fit. And he's hardly 35 or anything is he?

    Get McGeady on
    This game calling for him

Doyle is anonymous, take him off

He just stepped awkwardly on his knee. Didn't look great but hopefully not too bad.

I'd bring on Kelly and McGeady and push Coleman to Right Wing with McGeady on the left, would give Reid more room in the middle, game is crying out for a bit of width.

Anyone go and chat to Dunphy on Saturday?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,097 ✭✭✭roanoke

Well it wasn't Brazil, but compared to our first half against them a year ago that 45 mins was a thing of beauty.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,892 ✭✭✭bizmark

Huge improvement lots to still improve on but its enjoyable to watch and reasonably effective so far

McGeady for Doyle would help things. Need to run at them more. Nice to see an attempt at so many passes for a change tho

Do people really hate trap that bad, that they think that performance was good against one of the worst sides in world football.
