It's good to see him take the chances that were there for him as if he didn't with a lower quality field it could have asked questions of his ability to deliver when pressure is on.

In yesterdays results, aside from Bennett, I only recognized six names in the whole 104 man field, the highest placing being 15th

Edward Theuns would be pretty well known.

But I can't believe you don't know Pedro Autran Dourado Dutra Nicacio from the Funvic/Brasil team :D :pac:

Think Pelucchi has won stage of Giro or Vuelta.

    Where is Yauheni Hutarovich?

About 30 km to go according to the official race Twitter account.

I don't know if the climb near the end will be too steep for Sam.

Sam and Shane Archbold have only raced together 4 times this year.

And guess what??? Sam has won all 4 races.

    New contract for TheFlyingMullet please

Saw the end of the race, and although he wasn't in the lead out, it looked like the Mullet was doing all the organizing and setup for the run in....Seems to eb a good lead out amn and has a really good relationship with Sammy

With Aquablue announcing they've signed Shane Archbold (great to see someone picking him up.....) are they setting up to sign Sam next year when his contract expires....?

Id think Sam Bennett is bigger than Aquablue and should be looking at a bigger team the them.

Unless they are stepping up to WT level highly unlikely.....but good news for ABS......or rahter Adam Blythe...now someone to organise a good lead out.

That was a hell of a finish! Presumably these wins are doing wonders for our rankings for World Champs next year??

Sam is 81st but doesn't look like this weeks results have been added yet. Nor have they been added to Ireland's results in which we are 13th

I'm just going to report you all for breaking the spoiler rules

Well actually I'd better not now as that would be backseat modding, so I'll just mention for any Liverpool fans about to watch MoTD - you didn't win, again....

Cheers, I also assumed it was a 1pm start and it's due to finish then. Don't recall them mentioning that yesterday.

Don't blame me for anything that may have happened today......

Missed the finish, but hear Sam was involved in a crash and stage was won by Theuns who also wins the points jerseys.

Sam unlucky not to win the sprints classification despite winning 4 out of 6 Stages

Bike went from under him on the final corner, he appeared to be back up and ok. Shame he last the jersey as it would have been well earned.
