Adam lived for 930 years and begat many sons and daughters.

I think Eve went on to star in The Meaning of Life. :D

On the whole "incestuous first family" thing, the standard Creationist defence is basically that yes, there was some happy families going on, but it was before Moses got the stone tablets, so it wasn't wrong yet.

Leaving aside what a specious argument that is in its own right, it leaves open the question as to why incest was OK, but Cain killing Abel wasn't...

Not really an open question, it's double standards. Religious people are translating the bible story in the way it works for them. You can't be saying for example that being gay is wrong and on the other hand it's fine to be married 4 times. And when it doesn't work in their advantage you hear the "not everything in bible is to be taken literally". No **** Sherlock! It's really one of the reasons I find religion disgusting.

And do you know, all the while he's probably thinking "serves them shameless hussies right, going to school and getting an education rather than finding a husband to submit to!"

I love the look of disdain on his face as if he's saying "yeah I did a tripple backwards summerault over the bars, let go of the ropes and did a double tuck before catching onto them again, and coming to a nice easy rest here. But that ain't nothing b*****s!"

And this year's award for "The Best Place for Deity or Related Entity to Appear" goes to -- opens envelope -- a Mr Chris Holland from London!

    http://metro.co.uk/2014/05/13/man-saved-on-stag-night-by-guardian-angel-who-appears-as-a-bruise-on-his-buttocks-4726860/
    Metro wrote:
A man was saved from a serious injury on his stag do by a ‘guardian angel who later appeared as a red bruise on his behind.’

Chris Holland could have seriously damaged his spine after falling through a table at a club in Poland on Saturday. But instead, he was left with a red mark at the top of his buttocks that resembled one of God’s messengers.

‘I couldn’t believe it when I looked in the mirror – there was an angel,’ the 30-year-old said. ‘I felt really lucky as if it was a bit higher I could have had a spinal injury.’ Mr Holland fell at his stag do while dancing.

Despite the divine intervention, Mr Holland, from London, could not escape the wrath of his future bride who was annoyed with him. ‘My fiancée was livid when I got home and showed her – but she’s glad I’m okay,’ he added.

‘It was an amazing weekend but now the adrenaline has worn off the bruise is starting to smart a bit.’ He was hoping the swelling reduced in time for his nuptials on May 24.

It's not an angel, it's a silhouette of Brother Lee Love

I hate to be that guy who ruins the magic moment but the bruise appears to be following a pattern that matches the shape of the bones in the area, but i suppose magic is also acceptable as a solution.

    This is hilarious.
The Russian Orthodox Church’s condemnation of Conchita Wurst’s Eurovision victory is being ridiculed on social media.
A prominent Russian blogger, Rustem Adagamov, tweeted a picture of priests wearing full ceremonial robes with the message: “The ROC categorically opposes bearded men in dresses!”
