If you want a worse shock, consider that Robinson is considered somewhat "liberal" and takes a sup of vino on occasion. He's not Free Presbyterian, but follows another totally different shower of remarkably similar headbangers.

Wow, pretty gobsmacked. What does it say about a large strata of the broader population in his community that would put him into power with that attitude? It really is totally damning statement from an elected politician in any part of Ireland in this day and age.

(erm... ...so not very funny. Ok, so did you hear about the one about the Englishman, the Irishman, and the scary religious bigot?)

If you find that gobsmacking, you should hear the exact words his wife said.

"There can be no viler act, apart from homosexuality and sodomy, than sexually abusing innocent children"

In her head what consenting same sex adults do in the privacy of their own bedrooms is worse than child molestation.

Not a wonder when she was shagging a 19 year old she'd promised his dying father she'd look after, and claimed was like a son to her.

She made that comment to a grand commission so it is a matter of public record. The Robinsons are shameless and always have been.

The Free Presbyterian community and the DUP are largely synonymous, tbh. People that have attended a conference have noted the almost empty bar and the shifty guilty looks of the few drinkers (not making that up either).

Don't know if they stopped selling the anti-Catholic stuff at them - probably have these days.

Actually that brings up an interesting question. When is the last time anyone has seen a half way decent Nick Cage film? And why does he still continue with the scheisse ones (at least Kevin Costner had the sense to give up after Waterworld and The Postman*)?

*Much better book by the way.

Nicholas Cage is a canary for sh1t movies. If he's in it, avoid. If Robert deNiro is in it and it's less than 25 years old, it's even worse than sh1t.

The Dublin Airport cap is damaging the economy of Ireland as a whole, and must be scrapped forthwith.

That one de Niro did with Philip Seymour Hoffman wasn't bad, IIRC. Can't remember the name offhand.

    The aforementioned IRS, I'd imagine.
