Nope, it's not Scent of a Woman, which doesn't have Philip Seymour Hoffman (dead, who could act), but does have Chris O'Donnell (living, cannot act).

Well I never, etc. I stand corrected. I'd almost watch it again to see him in it, if it wasn't for the deep loathing I harbour for Chris O'Donnell (unfairly, I'm sure. He's probably a very nice chap, but I, long ago, worked in a cinema and had to sit through too many of his films. He seemd to be unhappily prolific in the early 90's, for some reason).

I thought he was good in Stardust (2007) and This Boy's Life (1993) too.

I though Cage's best role by quite a bit was Wild at Heart, with Leaving Las Vegas in second. Philip Seymour Hoffman on the other hand I could watch in almost anything, a sad loss to the silver screen.

Sure that's how the nuns used to amuse the children in the Magdalen Launderies and Mother and Baby Homes. They were always bringing them out for treats to the pubs and restaurants around Letterfrack, Goldenbridge and so on.

sorry Im a bit slow on the uptake, but while these are undoubtedly brilliant films, which ones are good BECAUSE of Nicolas Cage? I mean Con air is brilliant but I could have acted in it and it would still be brilliant. Which movie has Nicolas Cage actually made a good film? Like Al Pacino and Marlon Brando made the godfather brilliant!
