The Dalai Lama is accused of blasphemy for suggesting he won't be reincarnated. Yes, you read that right.
Excuse me, I'll be over there in the corner laughing.

And to cap it off, his accuser is the governor of Tibet! I would have figured a communist wouldn't give two ****s about blasphemy.

The CCP are mad to denigrate the Dalai Lama, mainly because he is the focus for independence movements within and without Tibet. An independent Tibet would disrupt the CCP's plans for the Sinicization of Tibet.

The Dalai Lama had stated previously that he would not be reborn in China if Tibet was not free.
Seems like he is going into a sulk now, and is not going to reincarnate himself at all. If he stays dead, that will foil the plans of the evil Chinese, who probably have a list of suitably qualified young Tibetan ladies who would be more sympathetic to the government, and willing to co-operate in the miraculous birth of the next Dalai Lama.

What he should do is go into the ocean and use his Dalai Lama powers to go into suspended animation for a hundred years and then come back later to free us from the Fire Nation...
Oh wait. That's Avatar Last Airbender I'm thinking of.

The RC hierarchy have a position on plain cigarette packaging, who would have guessed?

Bishops welcome plain packaging for tobacco products

The Catholic bishops have welcomed the signing into law of plain packaging for tobacco products.

In a statement at the conclusion of their spring meeting in Maynooth on Wednesday, they said “over one million people smoke cigarettes on the island of Ireland” and the new law “is to be welcomed notwithstanding the pressure exerted by corporate lobbying or legal threats regarding this matter”.

“This important public health initiative should act as a deterrent, especially for teenagers, to prevent people from starting the highly addictive and damaging habit of smoking.”

Hmm that's ripe for a Waterford Whispers-style makeover...
Atheist Ireland have welcomed the signing into law of plain packaging for religious products.

In a statement at the conclusion of their spring meeting in Dublin city centre on Wednesday, they said “over one million people go to church on the island of Ireland” and the new law “is to be welcomed notwithstanding the pressure exerted by corporate lobbying or legal threats regarding this matter”.

“This important public health initiative should act as a deterrent, especially for teenagers, to prevent people from starting the highly addictive and damaging habit of religion.”

The Dublin Airport cap is damaging the economy of Ireland as a whole, and must be scrapped forthwith.

No we don't. Political correctness is essentially a snarl term for racist right-wingers because the damned liburrrls took away their n-word.

Yes, when some take it too far and try to sap the fun out of everything.

I just heard on the Marian Finucane Show that Pope Francis, whilst back in Argentina, was known as Old Cemetery Face. :D The radio went silent, which is probably to be expected.

Apparently, Old Cemetery Face is planning on quitting 'poping' in 2 - 3 years. Popes could possibly be voted in for 4 year terms, just like a president/ prime minister. The 'majesty' of the clergy is still peeling away. Hallelujah!

It's used by the likes of UKIP because they can't even say 'Chinky' or 'Fag Lords' any more. "It's political correctness gone mad." Damn progressive liberals taking away their 'right' to bigotry, racism, misogyny, xenophobia and homophobia. How come the Holy Babble has no problem with this?

    I'm meandering. Back on topic:
