Have we a rough idea of how much they'll be? How much were the last ones?

Won't know a price till I can get a decent idea if numbers - hence the poll. The poll is just for numbers and not to vote which gets done. I will try and get both done.

    Any update on this?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,679 ✭✭✭bcmf

Am trying to get it done from verge but it slipped thru the cracks on their end. Sent a reminder txt yesterday and they said they will chase it.
In the meantime we need someone on here to design it so we can speed it up and minimize delays.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,679 ✭✭✭bcmf

    Ok.
I have a provisional price based on 60* of €18.50 inc VAT.

*the number of them when I submitted the inital order was 60. It may get revised.
FOR THE MIN AS OF THIS POST I wont take anymore orders as we need to have a definite number.
    35 pink
    36 lime

    @bcmf

Are you dead set against the old design? I don't mind either way.
It's your call of course since you are organising the group-buy :)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,679 ✭✭✭bcmf

Would really like to get a new design done. One in green and one in pink.
need someone to design it though

Did you lads fall on your heads recently.............???

    18 quid for a buff !!!

    No recession on here so.....

sorry if I'm spoiling your thread, but sensibility has meant I cant hold my tongue any longer.......

I am just relaying on the price I was given.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,730 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

How much were the old batch that were done?

I don't think a score is too bad for a decent quality one, the one's on Wiggle all seem to be about 15, and this has a custom design so.....

  • Moderators, Science, Health & Environment Moderators Posts: 23,233 Mod ✭✭✭✭godtabh

I'd be in for a pink one

I'm not really bothered about the colour as it will mainly be worn on my commute in the dark

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,479 ✭✭✭rollingscone

Umm its the same price as an actual branded buff and with a bespoke design. So as long as the quality is decent even I can stretch to under 20 squids.

What's the situation going to be with getting your hands on a sample and reporting on quality etc BCMF?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,259 ✭✭✭Hunterbiker

    Happy with either

Am trying to go with the same manufacturer as the kit so if everyone us happy with the quality of that I wouldn't see an issue with quality but will try and get my hands on a sample
I have asked the manufacturer to have a look in here.
In the meantime if someone is in anyway handy at doing a mock up of one .......please
Also I need to close the thread as numbers may simply become too many And is becomeing an issue.
    Mods please!!!

Would it not be a bad idea to start a new thread with an excel file for an order to get an idea of numbers remember some will take two of on or one of either
    Pending design of course

No recession in the TheBlaaMan household either, just seen you ordered a jersey for €200 in the other Gabba thread ;) If you don't want a buff don't get one cant see the point of taking issue with the price. Bcmf is the one doing the work for this and this should be appreciated.

I tried to resist, but gave in :)
Idea of being all "matchy matchy" was just too hard to pass up!
Thanks for sorting this out bcmf

    Just a quick update:
The design is being done in the next day or so hopefully will post up soon.

On the subject of postage collecting: Would anyone have an objection to paying an extra circa €2.50 or so for direct delivery to save me the hassle of me sorting the whole lot out.
It may be an option but needs to be confirmed.

Does anyone know the Pantone ref for the pink that was used in the last pink jersey order?

Would be quicker as well. No point in getting sent to me then having me pack them up and asking peeps to send me cash for me to send them on.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 535 ✭✭✭dogsears

Nearly forgot about this. Added my name to spreadsheet and totally agree with extra cost for direct delivery. WiggleCRC has us spoilt.

110% do direct delivery, even just for saving yourself the hassle. Dropoffs and collections are a massive pain in the arse.

I'm happy to pay for direct delivery as well :)
