    A problem has developed with submitting this tournament for FIDE rating due in part to the disengagement of its chief arbiter and in part to delays in getting all the games played and reported (according to this document it was supposed to run from June to August). Unfortunately, the deadline for submitting to FIDE is now only a few days away (October 20) and also some uncertainty has arisen over the accuracy of the tournament data currently available.
    All players in this event are asked to urgently review the current data and inform deputy arbiter Pat Fitzsimons whether their results have been recorded correctly. The tournament will be submitted to FIDE on October 20 if there is confidence that the data is accurate for the games played so far. Otherwise, it may have to be withdrawn.
