Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Problem with Kindle reader on iPad

I bring my Kindle into work with me, but use the Kindle app on my iPad at home. I downloaded a book today to my Kindle, but when I try to download it to my iPad, I keep getting an error message.

I've tried going into the Amazon store and downloading from there, but although I get a message saying it's been delivered to my iPad, it's not appearing there. I deleted a whole load of books and apps from my iPad in case lack of storage is what was causing the problem, but still no go.

This has never happened before (not on my iPad, that is) and I'm at a loss what to try next. My wife reads the Kindle in the evenings, so reverting to reading the books on my Kindle is at best a partial solution.

I loaded the new operating system a few weeks ago, so I don't think that's what's causing the problem.

    Any suggestions?

    What error are you getting?

The book was appearing on the cloud, but I was getting an error message when I tried to download it to my iPad. Instead of the book loading, I would get a message saying Download Error where the book should be.

Funny thing is, I've just tried again and it now seems to working OK.
