Try a health food shop. Or ask a pretty girl working in a chemists. Pretend it's for make up on sensitive skin.

Shu Umera or Muji (both make up brands which have related accessories) have them, I'm sure. You'd be sending off though - neither brand available here.

I recently bought 100% organic cotton yarn (like a ball of wool) at a sewing shop - lots of people on YouTube use it with great success. You boil it first then air dry before use. So cheap it should be free.

I'm looking at some unbleched/untreated cotton I have here (You can know if it is untreated as it still has the cotton seeds in the fabric) pretty easy to unravel some threads, not sure what size they are, guessing about 0.5 - 1.0ml will give it a go next week and see what happens.......famous last words

It is from a heavy duty canvas I bought ages ago in Murphy Sheedy in Dublin, I can stick some in an envelope and send it to you if you want to try some. Pm me your address and I'll throw it the post on Tuesday.

Thanks for the reply! I won't pretend anything though, don't want to make it seem as if im doing something illegal or something!! Im sure most of them wouldnt even ask why I needed it, would be a bit personal like :P

For some reason I keep hearing Chef from South Parks singing his seminal 1998 hit Chocolate Salty Balls every time I read this thread title.
