Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Records of Training Courses

    Can anyone help??

I have asked the ECSSAI to release training records for an electrical contractor who is registered with them. The electrical contractor completed work on my home in 2008. The work completed was dangerous, unsafe and a complete and utter mess. We brought the electrician to court and won our case.

I require proof he completed the required mandatory cert and verification course. The ECSSAI are stating they do not have records of the training and are saying they kept no records even though the course was mandatory in order to registered with the ecssa. Would they not be legally obliged to keep records?

Can they just delete records? How long should records be kept for?

Company profile: Electrical Contractors Safety & Standards Association (ECSSA) is one of only two Electrical Safety Supervisory Bodies appointed by the Commission for Energy.
