ASG pistol torch bulb

Hi guys, I need to ask you a question here.

Where can I get a spare bulb for my ASG Super Xenon Flash Light Tactical version?

It blew last week when it got switched on somehow in my bag and I cant seem to find a replacement for it anywhere I look online. They say its easy to replace and yes, it would be if I could get my hands on one lol.

Can you take a pic of the bulb itself. There is usually a marking on the bulb also to say what voltage it is and some times even a model no.

Does it look anything like this:

.. but a bit different. The wire coming out of the back is a bit shorter and stronger. Also, they seem to be rated for 150 lumens but the voltage is not specified anywhere I saw so I am assuming its a 6V bulb. a 12V one in my local maplins lit up like a candle when I tested it so thats a no-go.

I did get a pack of 4 bulbs on ebay that were wire ended and 6v but the light out of the first one was very poor so obviously the xenon ones are of a higher output.

The original one has absolutely no markings at all.

The funny thing is that they are advertised as being able to easily replace the bulb, and they are. The tricky bit is finding a bulb lol.

Looks a bit like the old maglite solitare bulbs maybe. They were 3v though. There are 6v maglite bulbs although they ae halogen and may not be compatible with the reflector

About 2.30 into this he takes the bulb out so it'll give you an idea of the size

About 3 mins in to this - is this the way it comes apart?

Possibly this may do the job but you might need to contact them first to confirm.



And last but not least, i never realised there could be so many variations on the xenon bulb!!
