I'm looking for a pair of brown knee-length boots for thin legs. Any I've tried on are too wide at the top or ankle or both. Any suggestions? Thanks.

http://www.duoboots.com/ have a large range of calf and ankle widths available. Not cheap, but for a perfect fit it might be worth the investment.

I've slim legs and find it very hard to get long boots to fit as well but I found a Dune pair last year that are perfect.

What was the name of the Dune pair mood?? I'm looking at getting a pair of Dune boots soon (I have my eye on two pairs) and I've also slim legs.

    They aren't available this year.

I was talking to a lady who works in a shoe shop today and she said some cobblers will take in boots that are too wide. Has anyone had this done? The name of the cobbler I got was Rossiters in Kilkenny in case it suits anyone else.

Try Buffalo, I tried a pair on last year that I still regret not buying! Am keeping an eye out for them this year :-)

I am also looking for narrow leg boots, but I prefer to try them on. Does anyone know of any shops in Dublin that stocks them?

You could try Dune in Debenhams, Arnotts or Dundrum Town Centre... I got a narrow fitting pair there recently.

Another poster suggested Buffalo... I can't vouch for them myself but there's a store on Echequer Street.

    Happy searching! :)
