Best Fitness Program for women in their thirties

    What is the best fitness program for women in their thirties?
    I am thinking a combined program to target problem areas.
    Do this 3 times a week. What do you think?

    1. Stomach-ABs-Bottom-thighs workout as in CXWorx for 30minutes
    Tones Stomach-ABs-Bottom-thighs which get flabby otherwise

    2. Weight training for 15 minutes
    Tones arms and muscles holding bust
    Also develops bone density

    3. Running fast for 1km - take 7 minutes
    Good for Cardiovascular system

    What do you think?

    Hi m,

    Looks like you've got a good mix in there. The CXWorx sessions are good, they work the muscles and at high intensity, which helps weight loss.

    The weight training will help toning too. Keep rests between sets at less than 30 seconds, should keep you at a good intensity level throughout.

    Running fast will help the cardio side of things, your other workouts will help with your cardio also.

    CatherinaMcKiernan.com has good points on running technique to help prevent injury and run efficiently, could be worth a look.

    Shorter workouts can be as effective as longer ones and are easier to fit into daily life too, think you've got everything covered.
