I'm not very good at Irish, but would love to name our home as gaeilge.

We have a river across the road, i didn't really want to go for the typical River view, bridge view, or glen view.

I would love to call the house.... 'House by the river', could someone kindly translate?

There is ALOT of wildlife, due to the river, my hubby just suggested 'herrons call'

I'm open to any suggestions btw. :o

    "Cois Abhainn" - Riverside
"Radharc na hAbhainne" (open to correction on the tuiseal ginideach side of it) - Riverview

After that I'm stuck for inspiration :o But I hope that helps :)

You can also use éisc for heron

If I was naming a house I would use

    Radharc na héisc

View of the fish (herons implied)

    But await more information

Heron (corr éisc) is a bird, not a fish.
