    Looks uterly bizarre with Europlates.

Probably needed for NCT if it's a PSV.

Yeah, I’ve been on the look out :D I caught your Morris Minor in Clarehall about two years ago too...nothing escapes my lens

I was in the black Range Rover. I was gonna pull in and say hello but I thought that’d be a bit weird!

Not quite as old as Tim Hortons 1929 car, but I spotted a 1938 BMW 328 on the M50 at the weekend. No pics unfortunately as i was driving.

Are they the original plates on the car? Cos I want to get a set of those to replace the Europlates i have on my 1990 Liftback. The few places I've seen online don't seem to do that font.

I wouldn't think so surely if it's road legal generally on anything pre-1991.

I will stand corrected as i know nothing about any extra rigours of a PSV NCT.

This place made up a set of old style plates like the ones in the Carina pic for me last year for a 1990 Sierra

I've also heard very good things about this place, proper old school set up so they'd have the old fonts etc

My only experience of the PSV NCT was watching a Taxi driver have a full blown meltdown with the inspector while I waited for my own car to go through the normal test.
He had been failed because the warning triangle in his boot ( which seemingly was acceptable last year) was missing a digit from its moulded in "type approval" number.
Inspector shot in through a door, locked it, and shouted to the driver that he could appeal the result to some regulatory body.

86 Saab 900 a short while ago in Tesco, Dublin 7. Immaculate condition bar one scrape to the front passenger side wheel trim. Waited around for a short while for the owner to appear but surprised he didn't park down the back away from ignoramuses who may damage his side panels with opening doors and trolleys.

I picked up a little something today..

    45469682252_98aba0f1df_c.jpg

Does anyone fancy taking this off my hands? It has brand new tyres, a timing belt kit and is not long serviced. Test is just up but it’s taxed still for a little bit. €100 to anyone on here who reckons they can save it from the scrap heap like I did.

Just picked up a 1 owner 1990 civic that will replace the Alto!
