There's a lhd French registered Renault 21 lurking around Cork, I've seen it twice in the last week, once heading in from West Cork and once in the city, it's rough around the edges but I haven't seen a 21 in years and years.

Friend of mine has just bought a 21 Monaco to go with his 25 Monaco in Wexford. They're lovely cars but always found the back end of the 21 to look a bit awkward

The Renault 21 was fairly rare in Ireland - even when new - Renault never seemed to sell very many of them over here.

Maybe if they had bought out the hatchback from the start things may have being different.....

have NEVER even sat in one - but apparently the R21s were supposed to be quite nice to drive and be in - comfort wise.

There was plenty of them around mayo, I think the diesel models had the front badge on the left of the grill, the petrols in the centre.

Fitzpatrick & King were Austin Rover dealers for a few years. Now a John Deere dealership.

L Plate could mean they are in their 50's but never "got" the test ..........

Met a 92 Mayo Mk2 Jetta. Red, and in A1 condition. Pulling a trailer with a big ride-on mower in it.

I might know that car, not many unmolested ones left.

Not a car - but my brother is having a new barn put up at the moment - the guys doing the job have a 1989 Isuzu Elf - JDM - with a cherrypicker.

Its basically an Isuzu equivalent of a Mitsubishi Canter or Toyota Dyna type yoke.

We got an Isuzu NPR over here - and this looks like a version of it - although I think it looks narrower - but its been years since ive seen an NPR - so maybe the NPR isn't as wide as I remember.

Noisy bugger it is too - wouldn't want to be doing a long journey in it
