I saw an 87 mk1 Carina II liftback in Tallaght earlier. I couldn't whip my phone out fast enough unfortunately. It was faded red, and a bit rough round the edges. I pointed out to my missus that it was actually a predecessor to my current car, an 05 Avensis liftback.

Might be 87-WW-1502? I've spotted it a few times

This morning on Western Road, a Rover P6 V8, red, on ZV plates. Looked a little tatty and the paintwork was rather flat.

looks fairly clean for it's age. Other than the alloys.

Only 15 years old but an interesting one with the light on the roof. What could that be for?

Probably either towing an illegally sized trailer, or driving in front/behind a tractor or other wide load

Also saw a red Peugeot 405 and Nissan Figaro but missed out on photo opportunities for both

Another Cavan native, outside Aldi today.

An 87 corolla outside rathkeale. Old man driving it at 60km/ph during peak traffic caused a huge tailback on a 100km/ph road

BMW 520 E12 in blue on ZV plates yesterday evening. It was weird seeing a 5 Series that looked so tiny compared to modern cars.

Lately see a '75 BMW e21 around Dublin 18 area. Quite often actually. Next time will take a picture.

    94 Corolla diesel van yesterday.

    1994 JDM Mitsubishi Pajero today.

The Renault 21 was fairly rare in Ireland - even when new - Renault never seemed to sell very many of them over here.

Maybe if they had bought out the hatchback from the start things may have being different.....

have NEVER even sat in one - but apparently the R21s were supposed to be quite nice to drive and be in - comfort wise.

Dad bought an '87 Renault 21 in '88 and traded it in for a brand new 19 in '89 and traded that in for a brand new 21 in '91. He kept it until '94 when he got the Laguna. Always remember how comfy and cool the '91 21 was. I love the older Renaults, would love a 25 Monaco.

Friend of mine in Wexford has a 25 Monaco and just recently a 21 Monaco. He's on the look out for a 5 Monaco now.
