weird the way the car is so filthy yet the wheels are spotless. also weird that there is no rust to be seen. wonder is there many miles on it?

they are probably shiny hubcaps from a newer car , sierras are 4 stud hubs while that pic above has 5 ;)

god damn my OCD hates that:D:o:D

    It's an 85 or 86 model.

Check out the classic car section for a guide on reading the old plates.

    Edit: snap

Thanks guys. I knew it was an 80's model of some sort but I hadn't seen a reg in that format before.

Aint they from a late 90s escorth they look very similar to the fiesta wheel trims from late 90s too but without the wheel stud effect.

na all escorts were 4 stud but id guess if im assuming they are hubcaps they are from an 80s tranny /granada/scorpio

It's a Laois reg and I'd say 1984. The last reg was 7342 CI which was Dec. 1986. So I would think there was way less than 2300 vehicles sold in Laois that year.

    1CI started April 1981 till 7342 CI Dec 1986

    Ya motorcheck just confirms it.

A few more spots over the last few days plus something I picked up (the 405). The Volvo belongs to a neighbour and is mint, 97 so one of the very last I think. The Bm is a 6 cylinder.

I see a lovely green Volvo 460 saloon running around Clontarf regularly. Looks to be very well speced and in great nick.

I think I posted a photo here not too long ago

Nearly every morning around Sandyford area there is piss yellow '74 Alfa Romeo GTV dangerously driven by a moron. Dangerous driving, cutting other drivers, never using any lights. Car is not the best shape either, seems that there's more filler on the body than metal. But it's a classic and one of the oldest I see around. :)

also posted in the Classics section - recent spots around Greystones/Bray

Wow that Volvo is fantastic, a real work horse lovely to see it in (presumably) daily use. ZF reg is Cork I think?

Passed a Renault 5 yesterday, '95 plate - so not that old. Rare now I guess. I've always liked the styling, if not the car.
