Saw a lovely clean 91 Jetta CL petrol earlier. I couldn't take a pic as your man was sitting in it and he was after getting an earful from the missus....I didn't want to push my luck.

That's a nice looking car in fairness. A sucker for punishment I suppose but I would drive that. I hope they come with decent spec to the Irish market.

I do like it..but I don't know if its just the name. Not a bad looking car really though. I'm just hoping I spot one around the locale for a comparison photo. Might have to pay the local Fiat place a visit when they're released

A couple of Toyotas around Coolock today. I thought it was interesting that the Starlet had colour coded bumpers but no UK spec rear foglight. I don't think I've seen an Irish Starlet before without black bumpers..was nice to see it seemingly in daily use for a young family though.

That Volvo 480 which was pictured earlier in the thread got me thinking. Went looking for one for sale, ebay uk is showing only one, and there are only 16 left on the road in the UK.
    So getting very rare!

Used to think they were ultra modern way back as a chap in the very early 90s :D. Were actually common enough here, as was the more family orientated 460. Still see the odd one of those (very rare though)

 Jaysus 133 for petrol, I thought it was dear here... I didn't think there was anywhere more expensive than Co. Wexford.

Don't buy any fuel at that station, diesel is 5 cent cheaper in Cavan town, and a lot fewer complaints about quality........

Wexford is lucky enough in fairness there are worse places. Saying that they nearly 10 cent in the difference in prices sometimes from one part of wexford to another.

Ye will have to take my word for this...but the below is a 94 Tipo screenshot taken from dashcam footage this evening. This is the second Tipo I've seen in the last few weeks...and they've both flown past me before I could think :( I've been looking out for this one.

(For non-regulars I should add that I was in my own Tipo when I saw this :o)

Up until about last year there was another 5 series in the garden in the first pic, and another one outside. All in the same kind of condition. No idea what happened to them though!

There's something really satisfying about seeing an 88 reg on a car designed to be a cheap runaround and still going strong.

Alot of people would snap them up for the engine. I had an average condition 93 reg 735i in my dad's yard for years I always ment fix it up but I moved out and into town so lost my way on it but we ended up selling it off to a chap woth a 3 series for the engine he was passing one day and seen it.
