There's 2 of them painted in the galway colours and flags out the Galway road, across from Lidl. Look well.

I just saw a white Mk1 post-87 Irish reg Fiat Ducato panel van on the Malahide road about 30 minutes ago. As well as these earlier today

That's owned by a previous teacher of mine and its still driven regularly. He has had it from new (or close to) I think. It got a bit of light restoration work done in last 5 years or so.

Its a 15 or 17. The 17 was the higher spec one, I think there is a way to tell the two apart but I don't know it.

Hints of the Datsun Sunny, 120Y I thought, when I saw it first. Especially the wheel trims.

It is indeed a father and son. The car has a genuine 14k miles from new. I was in it before they bought it

Initials G O'C by any chance?

A blue W126, a Mk2 Golf Atlantic (with L plates) and a late model original Saab 900 in impromptu convoy on the Malahide road about 20 minutes ago at UCI. I was travelling the other way so couldn't get a pic, couldn't make the stuff up though!

Not the oldest, but interesting (to me) all the same. a Volvo Bertone 2 door. Bernieres-sur-Mer, Calvados, France.

87c40029 red Corolla GL on the motorway in Mitchelstown today. Those 5 door GL were a terrible looking yoke imo but this thing was spotless.
Black Mark 1or 2 Golf GTI further up the road on old plates. Thing of beauty and 2 young fellas happy as Larry inside in it.
Obviously coming from some rally somewhere.
