Seen a 96 OY Toyota Starlet on the Tullamore bypass today. Don't know how to make the picture appear with the post so I'll try attaching it instead

I saw a very sorry looking Renault Alpine in blackrock yesterday. Looking at it on maps, it looks far better than it's current state!

    Next time I'm there I'll get a pic :)

I was photo-ing the G Wagen and a pedestrian kindly waited till i was finished to avoid walking into the shot.
I said "thanks" to her, to which she replied "No problem, but why are you taking a picture of my car?" !
Seemed a lame enough reason when i tried to explain about this thread :D

The Syncro owner was loading up double glazing stuff.

1st car my father bought brand new, ours was an '89 reg. Don't know what he was feckin thinking though. We were a family of 7 at that stage

After a year of 5 kids killing each other in the back he traded it in for a 21. So we had a bit more room to throw punches then :pac:

That sounds oddly familiar! We'd gone from I think a Renault 9 to a 19 around the time the 5th of us was born and I can still remember well being jammed in two of us either side of the baby car seat! It was great some times though when one of the younger ones travelled on mums lap in the front and you had a whole seat. Very different times I remember lying across the rear parcel shelf sleeping on long journeys!

Worse was to come though when the 6th was born! Luckily it didn't last long and Dad changed to a 7 seat Renault Savanna oh the luxury! Its the first car I can remember well, though I can vaguely remember the Ford Escort he had before the first Renault. It was a great car despite bits of trim constantly falling of. He still ended up buying a second one. It ended its life in a head on collision with drunk driver on the wrong side of the road. I wasn't in the car but all seven other members of my family were. Amazingly 4 of them had no injuries. The old man dislocated his hip and mum hurt her hand. One brother broke his arm and needed a good few stitches on his head. When I saw how badly damaged the car was they really were lucky to all get out alive.

Them wheels are the business Duke. Wouldn't be fan of the back lights and roof rack but the rest I love.

Yeah the wheels give it a cool look alright. Time will only tell what the stance will be like to live with on a daily basis, though!

Now to decide on what this should go into :D
